Cookie Policy

This page clearly explains how we use cookies on colleadimari.com: what they are, what they’re used for, who manages them, and how you can control their use at any time.

We use some technical tools to make the site work, others to understand how to improve it, and still others to let you know we exist when you’re browsing elsewhere. For anything beyond what is strictly necessary, we always ask for your consent.

1. What Are Cookies

When you visit a website, your browser may receive and save small text files called cookies on your device. These files allow the site to remember information about your visit—for example, that you’ve added something to your cart, that you’ve already selected Italian as your language, or that you’ve already indicated your preferences on the banner.

In addition to cookies themselves, there are similar technologies that work in a similar way: tracking pixels, scripts, and browser fingerprinting. On this page, we refer to them collectively under the generic term “cookies” for simplicity.

Here, we clearly explain which cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can manage your preferences at any time.

2. Data Controller

The data controller is:

Colle Adimari – Azienda Agricola
Via di Corliano 30, 50050 Cerreto Guidi (FI)
VAT No. 06570340486
Email: info@colleadimari.com

3. What types of cookies do we use

On this website, we use technical, persistent, marketing, and profiling cookies, as well as third-party cookies.

3.1 Technical Cookies

These cookies are essential for the website to function. Without them, you would not be able to browse the site, add products to your cart, complete a purchase, or view pages correctly. They do not require your consent because they fall under the category of strictly necessary cookies as defined by current legislation.

On this website, technical cookies include:

woocommerce_items_in_cartIndicates whether there are any items in the shopping cartSession
wp_woocommerce_session_*Manages the shopping session7 Days
wordpress_test_cookieMake sure cookies are enabled in your browserSession

3.2 Statistical Cookies

We use statistical cookies to understand how visitors interact with the site—which pages are visited most often, where users come from, and how long they stay. This information helps us improve the site over time.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to collect aggregated data on site usage. GA4 is configured with Google Consent Mode v2: by default, in the absence of consent, analytics tracking is disabled (denied).
Only if you accept statistical cookies will the tool be activated and able to collect data about your browsing session.
The data is also processed by Google LLC in the United States, in accordance with the safeguards provided by the GDPR (Standard Contractual Clauses).

_ga_*Maintains the GA4 session state2 Years
_gidIt distinguishes between users24 Hours

Matomo (self-hosted)

We use Matomo Analytics, which is installed directly on our servers: your data is never shared with third parties. By default, Matomo is configured in cookieless mode: we collect aggregated statistical data (pages visited, referral source, device type) without installing any cookies and without identifying you individually. Your IP address is anonymized.

If you accept statistical cookies, Matomo may save a cookie (pk_id) to recognize you on subsequent visits and provide you with more accurate statistics. If you withdraw your consent, the `forgetConsentGiven()` function is executed, and Matomo automatically reverts to cookieless mode.

_pk_ses.*Keeps the current session open30 Minutes

3.3 Marketing and Profiling Cookies

We use marketing cookies to show you relevant ads on Google based on the pages you’ve visited on our site. These cookies require your explicit consent. If you do not give your consent, marketing tools are disabled by default (Google Consent Mode v2 with initial status denied).

Google Ads (Google LLC)

We use Google Ads to create audiences based on website visitors and show them targeted ads on Google and the Display Network. This means that if you have visited our website and consented to marketing cookies, you may see our ads while browsing Google or other sites on the Google Network.

3.4 Third-Party Cookies for Content and Reservations

We use statistical cookies to understand how visitors interact with the site—which pages are visited most often, where users come from, and how long they stay. This information helps us improve the site over time.

Google Maps

The Contact page includes an interactive map provided by Google Maps. If you have not accepted cookies, this map will not load automatically: you will see a screen explicitly asking if you want to load the external content. Only if you accept—or have accepted all cookies—will Google Maps load, and Google will be able to set its own cookies. For more information: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Regiondo (Regiondo GmbH)

The Experiences page uses a widget provided by Regiondo to display the catalog of available experiences and manage reservations.
The widget loads scripts directly from Regiondo’s servers and may set technical cookies necessary for managing reservations and, potentially, Regiondo’s own analytics or marketing cookies. We recommend that you review Regiondo’s privacy policy for details: https://regiondo.com/privacy-policy

Stripe (Stripe, Inc.) e PayPal (PayPal Holdings, Inc.)

At checkout, our website uses Stripe and PayPal to securely process transactions. These services may set technical cookies necessary for payment processing and fraud prevention, regardless of your preferences regarding profiling cookies.

4. How We Handle Your Consent

When you visit the site for the first time, we display a banner that allows you to choose which categories of cookies to accept. You can:

  • Accept all cookies, including statistical and marketing cookies;
  • Reject all non-essential cookies, continuing to browse with only technical cookies;
  • Customize your preferences category by category.

Your choice is stored for 12 months. You can change it at any time by clicking the “Manage cookie preferences” link in the website footer.

The site uses Google Consent Mode v2: all third-party tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads) start in the “denied” state and are activated only after you explicitly choose to allow them. This ensures that no data is transmitted to Google before you have given your consent.

5. How to disable cookies in your browser

You can manage or delete cookies directly from your browser settings. Here are links to guides for the major browsers:

Please note that disabling technical cookies may affect the proper functioning of the website (for example, the shopping cart or the checkout process).

6. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example, following the introduction of new tools or regulatory changes.

In the event of changes to the services you use, our cookie banner will ask you to update your consent

If you have any questions, you can contact us at info@colleadimari.com.
